These are suggested art supplies. Please work in the medium most comfortable for you. Remember this is source work and you do not want to be attached to creating beautiful art work, so my suggestion is to stay away from expensive supplies unless that is what you use already. Dedicate these supplies for this year's study, adding supplies as you need. Stay away from just finding anything in an old supply box or using these supplies for another class or function.

Remember. you don't have to buy all of these supplies. Choose what you would like to work with to begin with - tempera, pencils or oil pastels. Markers are more difficult to blend or cover up. They can be used for the neurographics.

For Source Painting:

1. Basic set of tempera paints

3. For painting, have a palette and water container

4. Paper, Mixed Media pad, 9 x 12 or 11 by 14, smaller or larger if you have a preference. These papers can be used for all media.

Have masking tape and scissors handy. You can paint on a closet door, fridge door or buy a foam core board and use it with push pins. You can also draw/paint on a desk or floor. Designate a space where you will be able to do artwork, preferably a space you can return to at any time to add to as you progress through the month

• A thick black marker, like a sharpee
• Colored pencils, markers, paint, as you wish. Oil pastels will be too messy for neurographics.

For Monthly summary classes:  (optional)

At the end of each month we will have the opportunity to share our month’s journey through a visual representation (as well as through other mediums).

If you choose, consider buying a large foam core board for each month.  Throughout the month you can add your neurographics, significant words from your writings, your artwork (or a picture of it, if it is too large), your ‘ah-ha’s’, noticings, reminders, etc, etc.

This can also be done digitally.

Think of it as a vision board on that month’s theme.
